The first part of Brian drove the car disappears into the closet was an old advertisement for a brand of dog called "food" Chuck Wagon. "The ads were the only way the dog suddenly wakes up, then ran behind the car disappears the same way .
The second part is a reference to a cult of people in America who drank poison and died with their leader Jim Jones and other famous mass suicide if all was on the new Nike shoes, and wore the same clothes. This group drank poison, and they were convinced that the end of the world would come and that a comet is approaching a spaceship was hidden to accept them. I do not do that, I would.
